Semesters & Examinations!

When you first join this academy, you will be given a written examination with at least 10 frequently asked ruling questions. This is to see how well you know your rulings. Each question is worth 2 points each.

The next portion of your examination to be placed in a dorm is the Duel Puzzle. After the written examination is over, you will then be given a Duel Puzzle by your tester. You will go on Dueling Network and create a deck of the Testers choosing for the Duel Puzzle and set up according to the puzzle, as will the Tester. You will have to win in that turn. This portion will be worth 30 Points.

You will be scored on the following rubric for this portion:
-Time it took to solve the puzzle based on it's difficulty.
1-3 Minutes: +15, 4-6 Minutes: +10, 7-10 Minutes: +5, 11+: +0
-Pass the Puzzle

Finally, a duel against the tester to see more on how much more skill you poses. The tester will have to develop a rubric to grade you on with no bias on anything and will run it by the Head Admin of Evolution Duel Academy for all of their tests. Any changes will be ran by the Head Admin as well. for the grading system, they will have to sum up to 50 Points.

Here is how you will be placed according to your scores:
-Slifer Red: 50-75
-Ra Yellow: 76-85
-Obelisk Blue: 86-95
-Horahkty White: 96-100

Now that you have been accepted into the academy, you will be learning according to your dorm. If you have been assigned to Slifer, you will be learning the basics of Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG, if you were assigned to Ra, you will be learning the Intermediate, if you were assigned to Obelisk, you will be learning the Advanced, and if you were assigned Horahkty, you will be learning the Expert. When you move from dorm to dorm, the things you will be learning will change according to the dorm. It will get harder as you move up the dorms. You will be learning for the next 3 and a half months. The next week and a half you will be preparing for the Exam to allow you to progress within the dorms (or if in Horahkty White, to graduate after 1 year minimum of being in the academy). The last half of the final week you will be taking your exam. A schedule will be posted within the last 2 weeks which dorms will be having their examination and when.

In order to pass your move up exam, you need to get at least a 90 or higher on that exam, otherwise you stay where you are, unless you are already in Horahkty White. Then, you are only taking it to show you are learning. If you are in Horahkty White and you get less than a 90, you will move down to Obelisk Blue.

The semesters are basically just like the formats. Every 4 months a new format arrives, so will the semesters. After you graduate, you can stay and will be placed in the Alumni Dorm for when you are here. You cannot graduate until you have been in the academy for at least 1 year and pass the graduation examination.

The Graduation Exam will be very difficult if you are not well-prepared. You will need to get a 95 or higher to pass. You will be notified what is on the exam when the time comes along with all other exams you will be given while here.

There will be quizzes and tests given during each semester as well and you will need an 85 or higher to pass those. It will be up to the teachers of the academy, of course ran by me, to what you will be tested on and when you will be tested.
